What Happens During the Fluoride Treatment Procedure?

The procedure is quick and simple, and can be done alongside other treatments in the same visit. We first clean and dry your front teeth, then apply liquid fluoride to the area. You'll get simple instructions on how long to avoid eating or drinking afterward so the fluoride has time to work. If a cavity has already formed despite fluoride and good hygiene, we can address it with a cosmetic filling or, if it's gone untreated, a tooth extraction may become necessary — which is exactly why regular preventive visits matter.
